Pixar : Cars

Saturday, June 10th, 2006

Vrrrooooom… "Speed…. I am speed….. "  Ahh.. such a nice show, Cars. Well done to Pixar again! Cars are my favourite, and CARS had brought cars and animation together, with splendid visual and audio effects. Love it!!

The setting is in the States, where you see cars in everything. The main "car"-acter, Lightning McQueen is a rookie in the Nascar-like race, participating in the Piston Cup. The movie tells us how this skillfull, fast, but arrogant and stubborn car gets a change of his own perspective of life.

The things i like bout this show is the humours, the animation, and the majestic sceneries from the race tracks to the Country-side. Too bad the audio system was not good enough in Pyramid, if not, it’ll be so perfect. Well done again. Hoped to watch CARS again~

Peace. ^_^~

BLOODY SUNDAY

Saturday, June 3rd, 2006

Before i start, i’ll like to pray to those who had been hurt, scared.. those who had shed their blood for wat had happened.

I found this news over the local forums.. actually, its not a news. This was not published nor airred on TV, as i know. A group of people, had a peaceful demonstration / protest in Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), I think, on the increase of petrol, electricity bills and stuffs. Well, u know nowadays, the government had to do so. The peaceful demonstration had turned into a riot, or i’ll say, bloodshed.

Some were hurt, badly.. (see the policeman "hero"..) .. some were caught for detention in the station. I wonder why such thing is happening in Malaysia. I thought Malaysia is not a riot country as the others. But now, it happened. Shame on the Malaysians, true.

I cant say whose fault is this.. either the government’s fault for increasing the price without considering the people, or the people’s fault to protest in a wrong way. Well, i really hope such things wont happen again in the future.
